Tyler Avenue Apartments

Varitone Architecture designed this new 52-unit apartment complex in the Chintimini neighborhood of Corvallis. Located a few blocks north of the Oregon State University campus, the complex provides efficient, comfortable, and secure housing for students. The site and neighborhood offer  excellent walkability, bike-ability, and access to public transportation. 

The five-story building stacks units and common areas to maximize efficiency. Each unit is designed to give students  a private bedroom and ensuite bathroom with shared kitchen/living/dining space. Common areas include study rooms, a fitness room, and a club room on the top floor with large windows and views to campus. The main entry features five stories of windows with views to  a colorful, powder-coated staircase that visuallys draws people to the complex. 

A landscaped rooftop deck offers tenants outdoor seating, a turf lawn for soaking up the sun, raised herb garden beds, and a propane grill for barbecues. A secure parking garage is located on the ground floor and indoor bike parking storage is provided on each floor.

The project is anticipated to begin construction in the spring of 2022.
