Best Western Premier - Keizer, OR
Varitone helped its client convert a dated Quality Inn into a custom Best Western Premier. The four-story hotel and convention center was overdue for a much-needed upgrade. Finding inspiration in the property’s mid-century modern gold wall sconces, Varitone created a new material and color palette with rich upholstery, pops of color and neutral undertones. The overall scheme, dubbed “Modern Scandinavian Glam”, was carried throughout the hotel and conference center. Richly colored upholstered furniture pops against the neutral undertones of the floors and walls. A focal wall design in the lobby is carried into the guestrooms on the wall dividers that help to separate sleeping from lounging areas. The design of the guestrooms features a neutral color palette with accents of dark wood and dusty purple.
In the lobby, the stairs and landing from the second floor were removed to create a more open and welcoming space for the redesigned breakfast area and a new bar. A large meeting room in the hotel is divided to make way for a generous sized fitness center located adjacent to the pool. The indoor pool, which had fallen into disrepair, is remodeled and a calming color palette with subtle accents of patterned tiles lends a sense of serenity to the space.
