Holiday Inn - Richland, WA

Varitone helped its client convert a 157 room Red Lion Hotel built in 1969 into a modern and “on-brand” Holiday Inn. Its riverfront location, pool, and large dining and bar area give the hotel a resort feel that the new design maintains. 

Using the hotel chain’s design guidelines, Varitone shaped the existing distinctive qualities of the building, including the interior exposed brick walls, into highly stylized interior spaces consistent with the brand.. The property’s unique horseshoe shape and varying guest room layouts necessitated creative problem solving. . Varitone developed customizations to the chain’s standard furniture and casework designs to give the property a cohesive feel throughout.
